# Stored Credentials Security

> How we securely handle your Taxis.net credentials

## Credential Security Policy

### Overview

The STR Uploader service securely stores your Taxis.net login credentials to automate reservation uploads to the Greek government portal. We understand the sensitivity of these credentials and have implemented industry-standard security measures to protect them.

### How We Protect Your Credentials

#### Encryption Standards

All Taxis.net passwords are encrypted using **AES-256-GCM encryption** before being stored. This is the same encryption standard
used by major banks, financial institutions, government agencies etc.

#### What This Means for You

* **Your passwords are never stored in plain text**
* **Your credentials are encrypted with military-grade security**
* **Each password is uniquely encrypted (aka salted) to prevent pattern recognition**

### API Security Measures

When you use our service:

* **Passwords are never returned** in API responses
* **All communications are encrypted** using HTTPS
* **Your credentials are only transmitted once** during initial setup
* **Subsequent uploads reference your account** without transmitting passwords

### Your Data, Your Control

* You can update your stored credentials at any time
* You can delete your credentials from our system if you no longer wish to use the service
* We never share your credentials with third parties
* Access to your credentials is strictly limited to the automated upload process
